How Creator-Friendly Music Libraries Are Changing

In the early days of YouTube, finding safe background music was extremely difficult. Many creators relied on public domain tracks or took risks using songs they didn’t fully understand the rights for.

Today, the landscape is different and rapidly changing. Dedicated creator-focused libraries now exist specifically to support online video production and livestreaming.

Some operate through subscriptions (they really don’t care much about supporting artists directly, they only care about their company), while others such as us, release music openly to encourage wider usage. Both approaches aim to solve the same problem: helping creators avoid copyright issues, and letting people use the music without paying for a subscription.

The important part is transparency and consistency, always. And while we continue to make blog posts about similar subjects, we are trying to get a good point across: support artists directly. We’re just like you. We are content creators, and we are all in the same boat. We love the creative process and getting paid (even if it’s fractions of pennies) is a really nice feeling. But, we’re more about building friendships and networking with all the content creators who appreciate our music. We do this first and foremost because we LOVE it, and secondly, to get our music HEARD. And you help us get there! For that, we thank you.
