On July 31st, 2026, YouTube’s auto-moderation AI came through and slaughtered MILLIONS of channels.

StreamKitty got caught in the crossfire. We appealed, got denied instantly, and got hit with the usual automated “human support” template (from @TeamYouTube on X/Twitter) that everyone knows is complete horse-shit, and non-human.

I’ve had a vast YouTube presence since 2006. Since late 2022 (that’s nearly four years), StreamKitty has been putting out 100% human-made, G-rated, copyright-safe music to help streamers, ASMR creators, gamers, and VTubers have hassle-free options for their background music, while they build their channels and audience.

We didn’t break a single YouTube rule. We didn’t “violate policy.” And yet, in a single night, our entire platform presence, our 1,000+ comments, and our connection to hundreds of awesome creators vanished… in a puff of smoke.

The Escalating AI Moderation Mess

What makes this infuriating isn’t just losing our channel. It’s watching who else gets hit while actual toxic content (especially manosphere podcasts) stays untouched:

• The “Guilty Until Proven Innocent” Trap: YouTube doesn’t strike videos anymore and they don’t give any warnings; their automated bot just deletes your entire identity and hands you a lifetime ban with zero actual real human review.

• Targeting Niche Communities: We’ve watched countless female ASMR artists, VTubers, and wellness creators get wiped out for fake “sex and nudity” violations on completely innocent, non-sexual videos.

• Zero Accountability: The platform hides behind algorithms and corporate silence while real people lose their livelihoods and community spaces overnight. It’s gross.

An Unapologetic Stand for Our Community

StreamKitty stands unequivocally with women, ASMR artists, VTubers, and trans creators. We live in a climate that constantly seeks to police, censor, and control marginalized people and women’s bodies, and whether it’s through bad policy or unfeeling corporate algorithms, we refuse to stay silent about it. This platform will always be a safe space, and we will continue to use our voice and our music to back creators who are targeted or pushed to the margins.

We Aren’t Going Anywhere.

They can wipe out a YouTube channel, or an entire group of them (as in my case), but they can’t touch our music. StreamKitty is still live on Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal, Amazon… everywhere. A week from now… you’ll also have direct downloads from us, via a new website. I have 40 StreamKitty albums queued up and ready to drop, and a broken corporate algorithm isn’t ever stopping that.
